Waiting for a forever home
We find a forever home for a dog, especially for a border collie or mini collie, super essential. The Puszta is a place where a lot of dogs end up in bad circumstances. This always broke our hearts and in 2022 we started the project "Hongaarseborderszoekenthuis" where we try to bring border collie owners in touch with border collie adoptions. Sometimes we function as a temporary family, when there is a place on the farm. We can provide 5 dogs a temporary guest family. But there is also a need for resources and money. Regularly adopted dogs are not healthy or not in order with their passport. The adoption dogs get the time to heal and find their basic joy before we search for a new place.
We get regularly criticized for supporting adoption. But it's because of our love for the breed we want the best for these dogs. We know that keeping border collies in the wrong environment causes a lot of behavior issues. We have a nice wolf pack that can teach a dog the right behavior towards others.

As you can see we have pictures of white dogs on our page, these are adoption dogs! We don't breed double merle, these dogs are adopted by us to safe them from deadly injection!
Adoption comes with a price, we ask for full expenses from vet costs.
