PUSZTA-COLLIES Warmly welcomes you

In 2016 we bought our first border collie "Spotty" which was her name, we had the plan to move to Hungary and start breeding our own lines of working dogs. Who would help us on our land and with the sheep and goats. It was some years later that we started the Pusztacollies page on Facebook.

 

We are hobby breeders and have only a couple of litters every year. Where we put a lot of love and attention into the education and training of our dogs. Mostly our puppies stay 15 weeks at our farm, get training in 2 languages (English and Dutch), have a big experience in socialization, and get basic training in herding. When your puppy arrives he or she speaks multiple words and understands their meaning. Our puppies are overflooded with attention from our 8-year-old and 4-year-old. This is why our doggies are so nice with kids and have no behavioral issues. A holistic approach to health is important for us, so we love to feed our dogs a raw diet (they also get dry feed in between) and we use preventive homeopathy for 5 dog diseases near the core vaccines a dog needs in his life. We also don't vaccinate too young. And give the puppies the space to grow up on their maternal immunity.

But we wouldn't be Puszta collies if we didn't do something for the Puszta where we live, we also have an adoption program for border collies who need a new home!
